Harshvardhan Kadam (b.1984, M.Des Visual Communication, from IDC, IIT B.)

Is a visual artist, a digital painter & muralist from India. Having studied Art and Design, and holding keen interest in Indian Mythology, Aesthetics and mystical philosophies, Harshvardhan found a reason to unite his interests & desires through visual storytelling. In 2007 he illustrated his first comic book, Deepak Chopra’s Buddha, A story of enlightenment.

Harshvardhan formed his collective inkbrushnme, which is well known in India for providing beautiful illustrations, unique & well designed characters, graphic novels and illustrated children’s books. He consults as art director for animation & live action films for various production houses across India.

Harshvardhan performs Live Digital Painting & VJs for SOMA, the audio visual collective from India.
His current experiments are in audio visual medium to communicate mystical aspects of Vedic, Tantrik thoughts and give them a visible form and believes that it will take him multiple lives to even scratch the surface of Vedic ideologies and create visually poetic references. His works are layered with symbology and are constantly in search of expressing cosmic thoughts and experiences.
